  This Starbucks is a relatively new addition to Stockport train station and serves a purpose if you're on your way somewhere. It definitely beats the 'Pumpkin' that was here previously which had a pretty poor range...
  
  Starbucks is one of those places that I found was a gateway into coffee around 8 years back but every time I go in now I feel like I'm cheating myself from a decent coffee experience (i.e I could be spending my money somewhere much better and with much less bitter coffee)
  
  This place sells sandwiches, cakes and soft drinks etc - I am quite shocked though by some of the prices. I bought a sandwich, coffee, water and a cake recently and it was about £12 - holy shizzle!

  I decided to take a break in campaigning for Britain to Leave the European Union last weekend to take a visit to Stockport, and my first point of call was this branch of Starbucks, the only branch in the city.
  
  It is a small store, yet still doesn't feel like a proper Starbucks, they seem to sell things such as Alcoholic beverages the normal stores just don't sell.
  
  They don't accept ordering ahead on mobile devices either.
  
  I also was upset with menu knowledge, I had to ask staff members multiple times whether they stocked a Cold Brew, and they just didn't seem to know what it was, and told me they didn't stock it, despite all Starbucks stores should be stocking it according to my recent conversation with Head Office, and at least have knowledge of it.
  
  The staff here just seemed poor, unenthusiastic and sadly this branch of Starbucks may look kind of cute due to how it is positioned on Platform 2 of Stockport Station, but sadly it isn't, and instead it is a rather disappointing branch which lets the brand down.

  Be prepared to queue In this ever so tiny coffee stop. It's packed at this time (7:30am) but the pastries are sweet the and the drinks are steamy. Not much room for manoeuvre but it's better the train coffee that's for sure
